In the mood . . . . .

I do believe our Oklahoma weather is ready to recognize that it's October. Mornings are filled with crisp cool air -- pumpkins and mums are appearing overnight in flower beds and on door steps -- before we know it, ghosts and goblins will be ringing doorbells.
Over the past few weeks our daytime temps have been in the 90's; and, I just haven't gotten in the mood to decorate with scare-crows and pumpkins.
But, this weekend brought a little cooler temps and after seeing the Autumn decorations at my daughter's this past weekend -- I'm getting in the mood for fall.
The above picture is the fall display by their front door -- I love that pumpkin, it looks spooky. The picture below is just portion of the pumpkins, mums, and gourds in their front flower bed. Joe and I inspected all the decorations, counting the pumpkins; and, he informed me it's getting close to Trick or Treat time.

I'm thinking that Willie Jay and I will doing some 'Autumn' decorating around our house very soon !!
