Trunk or Treat . . . . prelude to Halloween

This past Saturday night our church hosted it's annual 'Trunk or Treat' for children of all ages. The children 'Trick or Treat' down a line of vehicles with their trunks or hatch-backs decorated with lots of scary things.

Before the parade of children, we had a little 'Scooby Doo' assisting with the proper placement of spiders, buggies, and other creepy crawlers. We lost count after the third bag of critters was opened -- I"m sure I'll be finding them in hidden my Cruiser for months.

The evening was perfect for all of the creatures, a princess in pink, a couple of Harry Potters (we even had a Dumbledore ! ), a Raggedy Andy and two of the cutest twin Lady Bugs I've ever seen. And, I do believe that Scooby Doo had more fun giving candy away than he did actually 'Trunk or Treating' --

It was a wonderful prelude to Halloween !!
