In a matter of days . . . . .

One day tall stalks and many flower buds can be seen --

A couple days later I can see some white ruffles peeking out.

A few more days and a dozen large white blooms sway in the Oklahoma wind
(which by the way - doesn't seem to bother them at all)

Details: white iris bulbs from my Mom -- these are very large -- stalks are almost 4 ft and blooms are 6 inches in diameter. This year they have a tiny bit of purple at the throat, which I think is from the purple iris planted just 6 feet away.
I do believe they like it here in my backyard.
