Tiny Aprons

The 'Tie-One-On Auction for Charity' sponsored by our church is this Sunday. My friend, Nancy, is responsible for decorating and this picture shows just a few of the tiny aprons she has made for an assortment of Barbie and Ken dolls. Please notice the lettering on Ken's apron: 'Real Men Cook' !

The dolls along with tiny decorated wooden chairs will be in the center of each table. Such a cute idea -- but, it's just what I would expect from Nancy. That's Nancy in the background piecing blocks together for a queen size quilt to be a wedding gift for a nephew. She's done a quilt for every niece/nephew and Nancy has 10+ brothers and sisters - do the math - it will blow you away! Nancy is such a gentle and creative person -- an inspiration to me (and many others I'm sure).

I'm so blessed to be a part of this amazing group of women, who meet every Monday night to sew, quilt, knit and just to enjoy each other's company. Those evenings spent with friends lighten my heart and re-energize my creative spirit.
