One of our Stitcher members (Carol) has been busy. The above picture is a baby blanket for her first grandchild, a little girl due very soon. It's done in double seed stitch out of MicroSpun -- such a beautiful stitch pattern. I'm sure her daughter will treasure this blankie for her own daughter. The picture below is a shawl Carol knitted for Prayer/Comfort Shawl ministry in our church. It's so soft and feels wonderful drapped around your shoulders. And, this picture does not do justice to the colors at all.
I'll be off for almost a week starting tomorrow and hope to have some finished items to show at the next Stitchers meeting. Or, I can just sleep late and watch lots of movies -- We'll see how it goes !
