Our Stitchers Group met last night after a break for the holidays. Everyone agreed that we all missed our time together on Monday evenings. It felt so good just to see everyone, exchange some hugs, see new projects started and some finished and fill the room with talk and laughter.
Nancy brought a patchwork (sort of) coaster made by her sister to our meeting. The picture below shows one of the coasters turned inside/out which is exactly what Nancy did to figure out how to make these cute little coasters. She then made a larger version as a 'hot pad' in Christmas prints.
So cute and according to Nancy, the construction is very easy. Maybe we can talk her into doing a class for Stitchers and we can all start turning out hot pads and coasters for next Christmas !!
